Quite chilly early on, but when the winter sun came out, I decided to “wet a line” for a few hours …..
Arrived just before 12 Noon and only fished until about 3.00pm, when a bit of a wind got up and it went a lot colder. Ended up for 6 x skimmers, 4 x roach and 1 x F1 carp, all on double pinkie. The water (and the fish) were very cold, after the overnight frost, so not too bad a result for the time of year.
Weather forecast is for it to get colder for the next few days, so I doubt if I’ll be on the bank again until next week at the earliest.
